At Hōzen-ji Temple, hidden in a peaceful backstreet, we experience a quieter side of Osaka. Here, myth and local tales come to life through simple rituals, offerings and everyday acts of belief that continue today.

We finish in Dotonbori, where folklore meets neon lights. This iconic district perfectly reflects Osaka’s lively character, showing how mythology is still alive, just expressed in a modern way.
