You will then arrive at a historic Japanese residence not open to the public. As you step inside, the atmosphere shifts—from the energy of the city to a quiet traditional space where geisha culture is still practiced today. After a brief introduction, you’ll be guided into an intimate performance space to watch a professional geisha perform just steps away. This close setting allows you to appreciate each movement and expression. Next, take part in a hands-on lesson using a traditional fan. Guided by the geisha, you’ll learn the basic movements, etiquette, and meaning behind Japanese dance. The highlight is stepping onto the stage yourself. In small groups, you will practice and perform on a sacred stage rarely open to visitors, taking turns performing and capturing each other’s moments. The experience concludes with a final performance, followed by a relaxed photo session and time for questions.
