⏱ 1hLake Chuzenji is a scenic mountain lake near Nikko, formed around 20,000 years ago when Mount Nantai erupted, blocking the valley and creating the lake. It sits at the foot of Mount Nantai, Nikko's sacred volcano.

⏱ 4hAdmission includedKegon Waterfall in Nikko, almost 100 meters tall, is renowned among Japan's top three falls, along with Nachi Waterfall and Fukuroda Waterfall. It serves as the only outlet for Lake Chuzenji. The waterfall is visible from a free observation platform and a paid platform at its base, accessed by a 100-meter-deep elevator for more impressive views.
