Cherry Blossoms: The pagoda is particularly beautiful during the cherry blossom season (late March to early April) when the surrounding area is adorned with thousands of pink blossoms. Autumn Foliage: Autumn brings vibrant colors as the trees change to hues of red, orange, and yellow. Peace Memorial: The pagoda was built in 1963 as a memorial for the citizens of Fujiyoshida who died in war.
