Formed by volcanic activity from nearby Mount Hiyori, this steaming valley is filled with bubbling hot springs, sulfuric vents, and rugged volcanic terrain that creates an otherworldly atmosphere. Visitors can walk along well-maintained wooden trails and observation paths that lead through the valley, allowing them to safely experience the power of nature up close while enjoying panoramic views of the steaming crater. The rising clouds of steam, the scent of sulfur in the air, and the constantly flowing hot spring waters make this area feel like stepping into another world.
