First, let's choose your favorite kimono or obi. There are various colors and patterns available. Once you change into your kimono, you will blend into the atmosphere of the Uchikawa River and have a truly wonderful time. During the matcha tea ceremony, you can experience traditional Japanese etique
📍Meeting point: From 'Kawa no Eki Shinminato,' walk along the Uchikawa River, pass under the Kagurabashi Bridge (the bridge with stained glass), and it's a 1-minute walk.
What To Expect
Stop 1
⏱ 1hAfter completing the registration, you will start by choosing a kimono. Once you have selected your kimono, we will proceed with the kimono dressing. You can also take photos inside the store.
Stop 2
⏱ 30 minAfter putting on the kimono, it's time for the matcha experience. Let's enjoy some matcha. We will guide you through the basic etiquette, including how to greet, take the sweets, and drink the tea.
Stop 3
⏱ 1hYou can stroll around the Uchikawa area and take photos. Around Uchikawa, you will find shrines, temples, shops, and various unique bridges.
Stop 4
⏱ 15 minAfter returning to the store, you will take off the kimono, and the experience will be complete.
