What To Expect
Stop 1
⏱ 1hmiso tasting & Japanese authentic meal ( miso-soup & rice / baked rice ball ) . Participants will explore a wide variety of miso at a long-established miso shop, tasting and comparing different types while discussing how miso is chosen and used in everyday Japanese home cooking.
Stop 2
⏱ 15 minBefore catching the bus, we’ll make a short stop at one of my favorite local shops for about 15 minutes.
Stop 3
Pass byWe’ll usually take a local bus, but we might walk instead if the weather is nice or timing works better. Transportation is included.
Stop 4
⏱ 50 minLet’s visit a local supermarket where many Japanese people shop and pick out some souvenirs. I hope you’ll take a taste of Japan home to your own kitchen. I’ll show you simple ways to use them in your everyday cooking. 【After the tour 】I’ll share Photos and a PDF with some recommended shops. Feel free to visit them if you’re interested in Japanese products and seasonings.
