Hokkaido: Lake Toya Noboribetsu Tour From Sapporo

Lake Toya (Touyako) is located in the southwest of Hokkaido and belongs to Shikotsu-Toya National Park. In the early 20th century, volcanic eruptions were frequent, and this lake was formed after it sank. The lake surface will not freeze in winter. There are more than a dozen hot springs here, each with its own characteristics, some are hydrogen sulfide water, some are salt water, and some contain iron. In particular, Noboribetsu Onsen, which is provided with water by Jigokudani, is about 200 meters above sea level and is a hot spring resort surrounded by primeval forests.

Showa Shinzan is located in Sobetsu-cho, Usu-gun, Hokkaido, Japan, and belongs to Shikotsu-Toya National Park. It is formed by the accumulation of volcanic rocks from volcanic eruptions.

It is a freshwater lake located in Chitose City, Hokkaido. It is the second deepest lake in Japan and the eighth largest lake in terms of area. The water of Lake Shikotsu is pure, with an underwater visibility of more than 20 meters. There are many wild birds living on the lakeside, which is a popular local eco-tourism spot.
