The Ken & Mary Tree, a tall poplar tree, became famous after appearing in a 1970s Nissan commercial, making it a beloved symbol of Hokkaido’s rural beauty. Visitors can take in the peaceful countryside views and capture stunning photos of this historic tree standing alone against the rolling hills. Alternatively, the Christmas Tree, a perfectly shaped fir tree in the middle of a vast field, resembles a classic holiday tree and is especially enchanting in winter when it’s covered in snow. Depending on the day's conditions, the guide will take travelers to one of these scenic spots for a short stop, allowing them to enjoy the natural beauty and take memorable photos of Hokkaido’s picturesque landscapes.
