This shrine, located in the forest of Lake Ashinoko, has a small Torii(shrine gate) in the lake and is known for its dragon deity (Ryujin-sama) who is said to have strong powers in bringing fortune, business prosperity and love.

Ashinoko, a volcanic lake in the central part of Honshu Island, is one of the main attractions of the Hakone area. Formed in the mountains, the lake attracts both Japanese and tourists from other countries, and the abundance of all kinds of fish attracts fishermen. It is 20 kilometers in diameter.
