Fukagawa Iseya is a long-established Japanese confectionery located in Koto-ku, Tokyo. It is especially famous for its famous “Shio Daifuku” (salted rice cake), which is loved by local residents and tourists alike. Wagashi made with carefully selected ingredients and traditional techniques have a simple but deep flavor.

Orihara Shoten is a long-established sake store in Koto-ku, Tokyo, founded in 1868. The store sells mainly sake, but also shochu (Japanese liquor), wine, and other products. *This is an introduction only, and you will not enter the store.

Fukagawa Fudo Hall, with Fudo Myoo as its principal deity, is crowded with people praying for prosperity and protection from bad luck. Goma prayers are held every day on the temple grounds, and powerful drums echo through the air. It is also a popular sightseeing spot. Here, you can experience the Japanese omikuji culture called “wishing cards. Visitors can also enjoy a goma experience, which is a form of ascetic practice. Please also enjoy the beautiful building and precincts of the temple.

Tomioka Hachiman Shrine is the largest Hachiman shrine in the Kanto area and is believed to be the god of prosperity and protection from bad luck. It has one of the largest portable shrines in Japan and is famous for festivals such as the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival. Here, you can visit the shrine and enjoy an osashiki experience. During the Ozashiki experience, geishas, or geisha, as they are called in Japan, put on a variety of shows. A dinner called “Fukagawa-meshi” is included, and you can dine while enjoying the dancing. *The meal contains soybeans, scallions, and wheat. Please inform us in advance if you have any other allergies. *We will not be able to accommodate those who have not declared their allergies at least 7 days prior to the tour.
