What To Expect
Stop 1
⏱ 30 minAdmission includedWe will drive from Noboribetsu to here and then get ready for snowshoeing. After a short demonstration on how to use the snowshoes and poles, we will start our snowshoe activity.
Stop 2
⏱ 2hYour guide will then lead you through snow-covered forests as we make our way towards the ice cave. Along the way you will cross snow bridges and some small streams. Your guide will demonstrate how to safely cross and what techniques to use. We will also have regular breaks where you can have a rest and enjoy the stunning winter landscape.
Stop 3
⏱ 2hWe will then snowshoe back the way we came and back to the start point. We will then drive back to Noboribetsu and say goodbye.
Stop 4
⏱ 1hOnce at the ice cave, we will have lunch and a hot drink and then go explore the cave and see the amazing bamboo ice formations. This is a great photo spot so make sure to bring your camera!
