What To Expect
Stop 1
⏱ 15 minYour guide will reveal the secrets of Kaminarimon and take photos for you. We will dive into the nostalgic charm of Asakusa.
Stop 2
⏱ 40 minYour guide will introduce local treats along Nakamise Street such as ningyo-yaki,local ice cream , melon pan, and matcha sweets, and give you time to enjoy snacks and shop for souvenirs.
Stop 3
⏱ 40 minYour guide will explain the mix of Buddhism and Shinto as you visit Senso-ji and Asakusa Shrine. You can also draw an omikuji fortune and let's try the incense smoke ritual.
Stop 4
⏱ 30 minKappabashi Kitchen Street, either on foot or by one subway stop. They’ll introduce shops with knives, tableware, food replicas, and more, and help you interact with local staff.
Stop 5
⏱ 20 minYour guide will lead you through Ueno Park, known for cherry blossoms in spring. You'll also see the Saigo statue, Bentendo, and Toshogu Shrine from outside.
Stop 6
⏱ 1hAmeyoko Market near Ueno Park. Once a black market, it now sells food, spices, clothes, and more. You can also enjoy street snacks like taiyaki, yakitori, and fruit cups.
