Visitors can also taste local delicacies, shop for unique souvenirs, and learn about the area's history and culture at the Hannoki Bayashi Shiryokan open-air museum. Visit the Gotemba Premium Outlets, one of Japan's largest shopping destinations, offering stunning views of Mount Fuji alongside a wide variety of luxury and local brands. After shopping, unwind at a nearby hot spring, where you can rejuvenate while soaking in soothing mineral waters. Bath fees range from 1,700 yen on weekdays to 2,100 yen on weekends and holidays. If visiting on the third Thursday of February, when both the outlet and the hot spring are closed, you'll instead choose between a sightseeing tour of Lake Yamanakako, Japan's largest Fuji Five Lake, or a relaxing hot spring experience at Yamanakako. This flexible itinerary ensures a delightful blend of leisure, shopping, and natural beauty tailored to the season and availability.
