After meeting your tour conductor, you will board the bus and head into the countryside of Yamanashi, an area celebrated for its fruit farms and wide mountain views. Your first stop is a sunflower field in either Akeno or Katsunuma, selected according to the best blooming conditions on the day. These fields are a classic symbol of Japanese summer, with countless bright yellow sunflowers stretching across open land and creating a cheerful, photo‑friendly landscape. Sunflowers here typically bloom from mid‑July through late August, although timing can vary slightly depending on weather conditions. Walk along the paths between the flowers, admire the contrast of yellow petals against summer skies and distant hills, and capture seasonal photos that many travelers associate with warm‑weather Japan. The open setting and clear layout make this a refreshing and uplifting way to begin the day.
