⏱ 1hFushimi Inari Taisha, is a sacred Shinto shrine renowned for its iconic torii gates and profound spiritual significance. As one of the most visited shrines in Japan, Fushimi Inari Taisha offers a unique and enchanting experience that captivates visitors from around the world. The shrine is characterized by its vivid vermillion torii gates that create a mesmerizing pathway through the forested slopes of Mount Inari. This symbolic trail, known as the Senbon Torii, leads visitors on a spiritual journey, representing a passage between the physical world and the divine.

⏱ 2hKiyomizu Temple is the biggest and the most famous temple in Japan and has been registered as the world heritage in UNESCO. Surrounding Kiyomizu-dera, the Higashiyama district is a treasure trove of traditional Japanese culture. Narrow lanes lined with traditional machiya houses, quaint shops, and artisan studios provide an authentic taste of old Kyoto. The historic Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka sloping streets are particularly charming and offer opportunities for exploration and discovery. Besides that you can also rent yukata to walk around Kyoto and take great pictures.

⏱ 1hNanzenji Temple, whose spacious grounds are located at the base of Kyoto's forested Higashiyama mountains, is one of the most important Zen temples in all of Japan. It is the head temple of one of the schools within the Rinzai sect of Japanese Zen Buddhism and includes multiple subtemples, that make the already large complex of temple buildings even larger.

⏱ 1hRyōan-ji (The Temple of the Dragon at Peace) is a Zen temple located in northwest Kyoto, Japan. It belongs to the Myōshin-ji school of the Rinzai branch of Zen Buddhism. The Ryōan-ji garden is considered one of the finest surviving examples of kare-sansui ("dry landscape"), a refined type of Japanese Zen temple garden design generally featuring distinctive larger rock formations arranged amidst a sweep of smooth pebbles (small, carefully selected polished river rocks) raked into linear patterns that facilitate meditation. The temple and its gardens are listed as one of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto, and as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

⏱ 1hIts famous Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku)—actually a pagoda made to house the sacred relics of the Buddha—has given this temple the popular name of Kinkaku-ji (“Temple of the Golden Pavilion”), however the official name of this branch temple of the Rinzai-sect Zen temple of Shokoku-ji is Rokuon-ji. The temple was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
