【Kyoto Style Kaiseki Cuisine】 Because Kyoto is surrounded by mountains, this makes it difficult to obtain a variety of seafood. As a result of this making exceptionally delicious cuisine with limited options for ingredients has always been the best demonstration of a chef’s cooking skills. You can enjoy these subtle flavors that highlight the natural essence of the ingredients while your eyes are dazzled by the beautiful presentation of each dish. 【Maiko】 A maiko is an apprentice geiko (not exactly same as geisha) in Kyoto, western Japan. Their jobs consist of performing songs, dances, and playing the shamisen or the koto (traditional Japanese instruments) for visitors during feasts. Maiko are usually aged 15 to 20 years old and become geiko after learning how to dance the traditional kyomai dances, play the shamisen, and learning Kyō-kotoba (dialect of Kyoto), regardless of their origins.

- •Meals on tours will be served on a fixed schedule for all participants. Please note that we are unable to provide vegetarian options or cater to specific food allergies. We appreciate your kind understanding.
- •We offer GPS-enabled multilingual audio guidance, available in English, Chinese and Korean.
- •Please note that a Japanese-speaking guide will accompany the tour and you will be sharing the ride with Japanese tourists.
- •The boarding ticket you receive also serves as an entry pass for major sightseeing locations. Please keep it safe until the end of the tour, as lost tickets cannot be reissued. Boarding tickets can be exchanged starting from three days prior to your boarding date.
- •Please make your own way to the bus terminal. The bus will depart on time, and late arrivals will not be permitted to join the tour with no exceptions (no refunds will be issued.)
- •Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure time for prompt boarding .
- •At each sightseeing spot, the guide will display the return time before departure for the next stop. Please be sure to confirm it and return to the bus on time. If you do not follow the instructions, the bus will depart for the next destination without waiting.
- •Infants and toddlers (0-5 years) can join free of charge if they sit on a guardian's lap and do not occupy a seat.
- •In April, the departure time will be 5:40 PM.
