Observing the unspoiled west coast gives a sense of why Miyajima has been referred to as a place where "gods reside." This is likely the same scenery that Kukai (Kobo Daishi), Monk of the Heian Period(794-1180), and Oda Nobunaga once admired on Miyajima. Moreover, the cruise includes a sea visit to one of the Nanaura-jinja Shrines (Seven Shrines), the Mitoko-jinja Shrine. It is considered a sacred place where a deity was temporarily enshrined during the construction of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine. Enjoy the charm of Miyajima different from the bustling tourist spots. The approximately 90-minute cruise is accompanied by a lunch, creating a vibrant time with the combination of the sea's location and cuisine.
