Kodaiji Temple: This is a temple where visitors can experience the gorgeous Fushimi-Momoyama culture. The temple grounds are famous for its abundant attractions, such as the variously designed dry landscape gardens and bamboo groves, as well as buildings that were relocated from the castle where Toyotomi Hideyoshi resided. Enjoy the temple's seasonal beauty and charm, with cherry blossoms in the spring and autumn leaves in the fall, as well as nighttime viewing at certain times of the year.

Yasaka Koshindo: This temple is located in Higashiyama, near Kiyomizu Temple and Yasaka Shrine. It is characterized by colorful, ball-shaped “kukuri-monkeys” tied all over the temple grounds. These kukuri monkeys are meant to warn people against selfishness, and it is said that if you pray for patience with your own desires, your wishes will come true.

Sanneizaka / Ninenzaka: This slope is part of the approach to Kiyomizu-dera Temple and is said to have been used by Kitamasato, the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Together with Nichinenzaka and Sanneizaka, it is designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in Kyoto City. The winding stone pavement and stone steps are flanked by old-fashioned buildings, and the area is known as the center of sightseeing in Kiyomizu.

Kiyomizu Temple: "This is a World Heritage temple representing Kyoto. In addition to being a popular temple for tourists, it is also a popular place for pilgrims to see the main image of the temple, which saves people with its mercy. The “Kiyomizu no Butai” (stage of Kiyomizu), built to jut out from the mountainside, offers a panoramic view of the beautiful city of Kyoto.
