Take a cable car to Mount Monju’s summit, overlook its panoramic view like a soaring dragon, and enjoy mountain amusement facilities. In spare time, visit Chionji Temple & Monju Hall for prayers, and catch the revolving bridge’s rotating spectacle. In summer, head to the beach for sand, waves and pine-shaded relaxation.

Zhien Temple is dedicated to Kirito Manjusri, the Bodhisattva who controls wisdom, and prays for success in studies, similar to Emperor Cangwenchang. The gate of Chionji Temple is the largest in the Tango area. What’s special here is the signed poem in the shape of a fan. If the fan is hung upside down, the surface of the fan will change from thin to wide, which means it will gradually become more beautiful. The adjacent swing bridge, the bridge connecting Amanohashidate and Monjudo land, when a large ship wants to pass, the swing bridge will rotate 90 degrees to allow the ship to pass (from time to time)

Visitors can explore Ine Funeya, a place that boasts the vitality of the "Venice of Japan" and the tranquility of "Kyoto’s Last Hidden Gem". Over 230 floating boathouses are built along the bay, complementing the blue sea and green mountains, exuding an uncommercialized original charm. Take a cruise (departs on the hour and half-hour, free walking in rough weather) around Ine Bay, or buy feed (JPY 100 at your own expense) to feed seagulls (immediately stop feeding and put away the feed if eagles appear). Free bicycles are available in the village, with 5 pick-up and drop-off points for easy access. Cycle through village paths and savor the unique tranquility and simplicity of the fishing village.

You can experience the cruise at your own expense, spending about 25 minutes traveling around Ine Bay, and you can also feed seagulls. Enjoy the view of the funa house from the deck on the second floor, and feel the special time with your family (the boat departs every hour and half o'clock, the ticket is at your own expense: 1,200 yen for adults, 600 yen for children, 100 yen for a pack of seagull bait, and if the boat is suspended due to wind and waves, you will be free to walk.) Note: Because there are many eagles in the Ine Funaya area, please pay attention when taking the tour boat. If you find an eagle appearing, please stop feeding the seagulls immediately and put away the feed in your hands to avoid being pecked by the eagles.
