What To Expect
Stop 1
⏱ 1hWe begin our journey at Fushimi Inari. While most tourists arrive later, we will walk through the iconic "Senbon Torii" (thousands of vermilion gates) in the fresh morning air. This is your best chance to capture that perfect "empty tunnel" photo and truly feel the sacred energy of the mountain without the usual hustle and bustle.
Stop 2
⏱ 1hNext, we move to Nijo Castle. We aim to arrive right as the gates open, allowing us to explore the Shogun's palace and its famous "nightingale floors" (chirping floors designed to warn of assassins) before the large tour groups arrive. Your guide will reveal the history of the samurai in a relaxed setting.
Stop 3
⏱ 1hWe conclude with the stunning Golden Pavilion. Seeing the gold leaf reflect on the pond in the morning light is a breathtaking sight. After exploring the beautiful gardens, your guide will help you find the best transportation options for your next destination or back to your hotel.
