Ine and Amanohashidate Day Trip from Kyoto

We will head to Amanohashidate by private car.

Amanohashidate is a famous scenic spot in northern Kyoto, known as one of Japan’s top three views. It’s a 3.6 km sandbar covered with pine trees that stretches across the bay. From the mountain viewpoint, it looks like a bridge to the sky. You can walk or bike along the path, take a boat across the bay, or ride a cable car for a stunning view from above.

Ine is a picturesque fishing village in northern Kyoto, famous for its unique "funaya" (boat houses) lining the bay. These traditional wooden homes are built directly on the water, with boats docked underneath. You can enjoy a peaceful walk through the village, take a boat tour to see the funaya from the sea, and experience the charm of traditional coastal life in Japan.
