This 60–70 km ride combines stunning scenery with authentic cultural stops—ideal for active, curious travelers. Your journey begins with a scenic train ride from Hiroshima Station to Aki-Kawajiri. From there, hop on a smooth electric-assist bike and cycle past fishing harbors, mandarin groves, and peaceful coastal roads. Highlights include Miterai, one of Japan’s last remaining Edo-period harbors, and Sannose, a historic port once visited by Korean emissaries and the Murakami sea lords. Stop for fresh-roasted coffee by the sea, enjoy a relaxed island lunch, and take in sweeping vistas at your own pace.
