They are only available at certain times of the year but the building itself is still hundreds of years old and made of various unusual types of wood.

⏱ 2hAfter lunch you have a few options to chose form for what you want to do. The main option is the Noten Daijin Ryuoin Temple which is located near the former imperial tomb. If you are looking for a more difficult hike you can head over to Mikumari shrine and get the amazing aerial shots of the temple you can see in the photos section
