Visiting the Mino ware kiln "Suigetsugama" for 45min. to observe the traditional handcrafted production process, from preparing the clay to shaping, firing, and painting. You can also view the interiors of rare kilns such as the "Noborigama" (climbing kiln), "Anagama" (hole kiln), and "Kingama"(Painting kiln).

On the cycling route, stop by Eihōji Temple (for 30min), home to two halls that have stood for over 700 years, and stroll through its garden, which showcases the beauty of nature in every season.

Pass by

Cycle past the monastery. It is a historic monastery established in 1930. Surrounding the monastery buildings are large vineyards, and the grapes grown there have been fermented in the monastery's cellar since 1933, becoming famous as "Tajimi Monastery Wine."

Visiting GROUND MINO (15-30min.) At THE GROUND MINO, learn about the characteristics of Mino ware, admire contemporary Mino ware tableware, and shop for your favorites.

Stroll through Honmachi Oribe Street. (The total time for both visiting THE GROUND MINO and walking along Oribe Street is approximately 60 minutes.) Honmachi, an area where merchant houses and storehouses built from the early Meiji period to the early Showa period remain, is a place that vividly preserves the culture and history of Mino ware. Oribe Street, named after "Oribe," one of the styles of Mino ware, is home to unique shops. Enjoy the blend of retro and modern scenery and culture.
