⏱ 45 minCycling in the mountains of Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture. After orientation, guide(s) will take guests to an e-Bike tour.
Stop 2
⏱ 1hThe route runs along the Jinkakuji Valley, where crystal-clear mountain water flows, and stops at a spring water spot. In autumn, the valley is beautifully coloured with autumn leaves. After stopping at the spring water spot, visit the "Fudo Myoo" and "Arhat statues", which show the long history and culture of the area, before continuing on to the next spot.
Stop 3
⏱ 50 minOne of the oldest temples in Oita Prefecture, with a history of over 1,000 years. It was temporarily devastated by war, but the present main hall and other buildings were rebuilt in 1369. The main hall and the standing wooden statue of Kongorikishi are designated as National Important Cultural Properties.
Stop 4
⏱ 55 minRest at a spectacular spot with a view of the mountains of Kyushu. After the break, we will briskly descend the hill we have climbed and return to the start point.
