⏱ 5hThere is much to see around Mt. Horaiji but there are few listings on Tripadvisor - the mountain is the main location for this tour, not just the temple! We visit Gyoshagoe cliff path, Horai Toushougo Shrine, the main temple 'Hondo,' Takauchiba Lookout, the temple grounds, Tainaikuguri cave, the 1425 stone steps, ruins of temples past, the 800 year old Kasasugi tree, the Niomon Gate, and the old Temple main road.
